Weekend - March 19 to 21, 2021
« on: March 19, 2021, 04:24:36 PM »
A few shots with the Zeiss Ikon Trona with the bellows fully extended.  Fomapan 100 9X12 film developed in Beer.

By the way, I added a rotating stage to my microscope.  It's really handy for viewing under polarized light and positioning stuff for photos.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Thanks, Kai-san. It's Kodak Gold 200 in my Voigtlander Vito IIa. Something about the lens on that camera does really nice things with color.

Just tried out my cocoa can pinhole. Lets just say I massively overcooked the exposure so this was more of a salvage operation than anything else.
But now I corrected my exposure chart so it should be OK from now on... hopefully.

It's the first time the Pinhole Designer fails me...

Chinatown. Contax T/Fomapan 100/HC110 (I like Fomapan 100 better than I remember the Fomapan 400 that I shot a couple of years ago. It's still a little too bloomy in the highlights for my tastes.)

Alright!

Reporting back again. I've been a bit busy with some stuff but had a chance to go out and take pictures a few weeks ago when it was raining/foggy. Pentax 6x7 with the 105mm 2.4, and Fuji NPL 160 shot at 50 (expired in 1998).

Here's one more from my now fixed pinhole.
You wouldn't believe the number of massive light leaks I managed to find!
And to my surprise, pop rivets don't make a light tight seal  :o

Here's a bit of distortion for you. And no, the horizon didn't feel that bendy when I took it  ;D

Bendy is a bit of an understatement, looks more like a bottomless pit!  ;D
