In receipt of Tim's lovely Diana shot... a splendid start to proceedings.

I've yet to make my final image choice, but have whittled down to a shortlist of 2.
In previous years I've printed at home, but this year I've decided to give Moo a try... should have a final choice and image sent to print in the next few days.

I’m glad you liked that Becky, just got your card today and Tim’s card, both very nice cards. Becky, I’m not sure how you got that effect but it’s really cool. If you like my first card I think you’ll like the second one as well. I hope to get them mailed this weekend. It’s been a very busy week for me, so I haven’t had a chance to work on them. I feel like all I’ve done is drive all over Washington and Oregon for work, hopefully I got a few good shots out of it.

I managed to get the ducks lined up and chose my image... Moo are set to deliver my box of cards next week. Then the biggest challenge... try to write something legible on them..!

Mine went into the post this morning, but now I see that some people are sending two cards. Did I miss out on something here? What are the rules (if any)? Not that I would mind sending another card, I would be very happy to keep the postal services busy. The government is just looking for excuses to shut it down.

I only sent two cards because I wanted to. Nobody is expected to send more than one.

Just taken a break from scribbling mine... writers cramp - seems we're no longer used to wielding a pen for extended periods.

Bryan the info on what kind of bug was smeared from the postal sorter, so I'm guessing it's a flea of some sort?

I love all my cards. They are all great and I have then on the coffee table to admire.

Becky, it's a Nymph Water Boatman, also known as a Backswimmer or the scientific name Notonecta. You've probably seen them swimming in ponds, they are quite common.

Cards are flooding in now, almost a new one each day. in the last week I've got them from Christian, Leanne, Manuel and two from Irv. All great cards, my wife and I both get excited to see them in the mail.

Just received word that my postcards have been printed and are on their way. Have ordered domestic and international stamps and am looking forward to sending them out. In the meantime I have received some excellent cards from AstroBeck, Bryan, Tim and Leanne. Thank you all, these are great and I'm excited to have a wall of Filmwaster's work over my desk at home.
