Weekend July 24, 25 & 26, 2020
« on: July 24, 2020, 04:32:58 PM »
My neighborhood turns into a war zone on July 4th.  My town allows fireworks, the neighboring towns ban them, so everyone comes from all around to blow stuff up.  A haze smelling of sulfur still lingered in the air the next morning.  I loaded my Minolta SR-7 with some Kodak Max Versatility 400, Expired 09/2004. I used an Auto Rokkor - PF f/1.4 58mm lens and shot everything handheld in B mode.  I just followed the fireworks into the air then held the shutter open, got a lot of squiggly lines that way.

Very cool! Next year, toss the camera in the air with the shutter open and see what you get!

Thanks Becky.

That camera already has a dent in the prism cover so why not.

Nice double with the daisies.

Just a woman wearing a mask pushing a stroller down the sidewalk on a hot day.

Taken on my new-to-me, nearly-100% working Pentax Super Program on some old Ektachrome EPW100 shot at 50 and partially bleach bypassed (only because I was dev'ing it with another roll that I definitely wanted to partial bleach bypass)

I assume that first picture is meant to be rotated to make it look like he's running up a wall? ;D Love it!

Finally spent an hour in the darkroom after months of inactivity. It felt good to get in there for sure.
