Last Weekend of May 2020
« on: May 29, 2020, 06:59:56 PM »
I posted earlier about the Kodak Vest Pocket Autographic that I made new bellows for.  This is my first roll through that camera, looks like it works.  The film is Ilford HP5+ developed in Beer.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

It’s been sitting there a long time, I took this picture of it in 2014.  Not sure what happened to vacudogbot.

Deja vu?

Well crap. I can't keep track of what day it is, let alone what I've posted before. Let's try again (or maybe I shouldn't...).

After 10+ weeks of COVID lockdown, our neighborhood has been taken over by coffee-swilling bears and old guys with Rolleiflexes stumbling across opportunities to pay homage to Vivian Meier. Times are indeed strange.

I've been trying to get my exercise in by biking around low-traffic streets, not an easy feat in NYC, even during a pandemic (in contrast to Peter's post above, I see easily more than half the people outside without masks on). Here is a pretty deserted area that hasn't yet been built up with highrises (although I'm sure it'll happen soon ::) ). Shot on some GAF film donated to me by James Harr a few years ago, semi-stand dev'd in HC110.
