It's the WEEKEND 8th to 10th of April

The "lockdown" is quite relaxed here, and some people use the time for birdwatching. And others take pictures of the birdwatchers...........  ;)

Oh, I forgot; the weekend has already started here. Thursday and Friday are holidays in this country, and we have the coming Monday off as well.

Isn't every day a weekend these days?

Some appropriately dark flowers from Brooklyn. Minoltina S / Ferrania P30

More Tulips!  I got the focus issues sorted out on my Kodak Bantam Special.  The film is ORWO UN54 developed in beer.

My first time developing at home without a monobath. Water, DD-X at 1:4, water, Ilford Rapid Fixer at 1:4, water, then finally Ilfotol at 1:lots. Shot with an Intrepid 4x5 on Ilford HP5+. My water at home is too hard for the Ilfotol bath so there were some mineral deposits to contend with, but otherwise it came out OK - I'll have to get some distilled water for next time. The ranunculus flowers we got in our weekly CSA (produce delivery box).

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Flowers. It's that time of year. Soon the leaves will come out and ruin everything.  ;-)

Great stuff as usual.
It's been a while since I posted anything but with all the free time it seems like a good opportunity.

Continuing with flowers.

Some expired Polaroid 100 processed as B&W due to it's age, quite like result though.
Taken on a Nikon FE-2 with 50mm lens.

Here's a "bored at home" shot I took with my Polaroid 100 and I think my penultimate pack of FP3000B? I held a closeup filter to the lens and guesstimated distance. Clearly I didn't take parallax into account :D

More shots using that closeup filter (sometimes threaded in, sometimes held in front of the lens) here: http://www.filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?topic=10037.0
