Yep. When friends find out you like old film cameras they sometimes drop off 'found' cameras. That is how 3 cameras came into my life last month.
A Kodak #3 Brownie that, after some internet searches, is dated between 1906 to 1911. A Kodak Tourist, the model with the lowest specification triplet lens and shutter. A 100mm f8.8 in a Flash Diomatic shutter with front element focusing to 3.5 feet..
The third camera is a Poloroid Color pack that used pack film. Dead duck now, no film.
Did you know that the 100mm f8.8 Kodak lens will almost cover 4X5? Got to looking at the lens and thought, why not try it out on 4X5 since it is so easy to unclip from the Tourist camera.
I agree, free is the best price.
