Thanks, Terry.  Careful choice of subject matter is what counts, I suspect.  The big challenge will be on Sunday to see what it can do with naked people.   :o

The more I shoot the Rollei RPX100 the more I like it. Here a couple taken @200 + dark red filter in Rodinal 1+25. Nikon FE2 + Nikkor AI 28mm/3.5:

Oh, I do like those shots, Mab. Lovely, strong graphical images.

Wow, very cool stuff so far!  These were shot with a Baby Rolleiflex using expired Konica 160 film that I got from Terry.  The film expired in 2006 so I metered it at 100.

Those are incredible colors Bryan! And also Aksel ... I can't believe you shot that out of a car window :P

I finished scanning the roll of Dacomatic referred to in this thread. I learned a whole bunch of things from this roll, because I was also testing out a couple of different pieces of glass. More on that after the break.

1. I dev'd the Dacomatic in HC110H for 8 minutes, it probably could have used more. In fact, I shot it at 50 and maybe I'll shoot the next roll at 25 to get more shadow detail.
2. My Minolta 58mm/1.4 lens is indeed slightly sharper in daylight than it is at night.
3. I was testing out a 2x teleconverter that I got for free with the 58/1.4, and not only does it cut out 2 stops of light, it also makes the focus VERY soft. Almost unusably soft, unless you're really going for that Vaseline-smeared look :) (note: the above shot was NOT taken with the teleconverter)

Amazing shots this weekend. Love Aksel's opener. I knew Ektachrome gave great blue but that is intense....

I've done a bit of scanning of a load of Velvia 100f I shot along R66 in October 2013. I've colour-corrected it as it was very violet and I wanted it back in the realms of reality as I will be posting what I scan on my new website.  If I'm being brutally honest, I don't think I'd go for Velvia again to shoot a road trip.  Bluebells and leafy Beech forests, yes, but not the arid midwest.

Anyway, Nikon FE, Nikkor 20mm f2.8 (I think). Taken outside Henry's Rabbit Ranch in Staunton, Illinois;

The colors this week are dazzling! Great job everyone.

I'm doing some abstract experimentation today with a homemade anamorphic pinhole.

On the left side is the ground and a wall. Stucco on the lower half of the wall and siding on the upper half. Then on the right side is also the ground and the sky. There are plants and leaves sort of all around. It's hard to explain.

Yet two beautiful images from Spain, so I'm constrained to add the third set. These are from Valencia.

Hey, I'm much faster than that, this is the second roll to whizz through that camera! ;D The first was a slide film which I picked up today together with other film that I handed in almost seven weeks ago! You have to be more than patient to get your films processed in this country. :(

Such great images again this week!
Aksel's blue landscape is a real eyecatcher, love Becky's and Sandeha's pinholes, Flippy's Beetle reminds me of my childhood and SLVR's woman almost pressed against the beauty parlor window made me smile.

Great shot Chad! Love hose Ektar colours!

Got some Ektar this week as well. Experimenting with the Mamiya 645 and a Squeezer lens. Apart from the lens looking very indecent on the camera, I find it incredibly hard to control the focus.

I have been working with some cameras, films and also situations lately. I am pleased to show you some of my favourites in a mixed bag of colour and b&w.

Fist one with a Yashica FX-3 2000 and an old Kodak 100. Second one with a Mamiya C22 and fresh FP4 and the last one with a Contax RX and a really old Tura P100 found somewhere developed in Rodinal stand development.

The usual high standard of work, though the standouts for me this week are James, Mab, and Manuel. Absolutely gorgeous shots! I adore them.

I've not had anything ready for a while, and I still haven't started developing my latest rolls :( But I just ordered a couple of metal prints from Adoramapix, and I needed just a couple of dollars more to get it to the free shipping limit, so I rooted around to see anything I was curious about printing.

Here's one that I decided, for whatever reason, that I wanted to see in print.

And here's another one that I found that struck me in a way that it apparently had not done before because I never even bothered editing or naming it. But struck me it did this time, so here it is:

Both are shot with the Spotmatic and TriX, souped in Caffenol.
