Lion's Creek Nature Reserve
« on: June 28, 2013, 12:04:50 PM »
Lion's Creek Nature Reserve is to be found on the banks of the River Crouch near Wallasea Island in Essex.

The  reserve on the southern shore of the Crouch Estuary was formed when a new sea wall was constructed cutting it off from the Crouch. The reserve consists of 12 acres of  meadow and saltmarsh. The creek itself consists of brackish water and is part of the River Crouch.

The photographs were shot with a Holga loaded with Efke IR 820 Aura.

Thanks Leon.

I shot 5 rolls of film that day without realising that my shutter release cable wasn't working properly! >:( :( :'(

I have developed 4 of the rolls and these are the only frames that actually exposed.  Still I do like these and it wasn't a wasted journey to have got the results I did.
