I've just eaten a plateful of mini-pancakes smothered in Tate & Lyle golden syrup.
Thought you'd want to be told.
:D :D :D
-
Do you always smother yourself in Tate & Lyle golden syrup when you eat pancakes?
seems the seediness is spreading.......
-
If only Bob Carlos Clarke were with us now ... ! ;D
-
You lucky to have Tate & Lyle golden syrup,
All we have around here is Aunt Jemima

Just imagine being smothered... ;D

I wore my Filmwasters t-shirt over the syrup to ensure I was keeping it real.

I'm not sure I like the way this thread is heading .... :o
BTW Francois - Aunty Jem (as her close friends call her) looks mighty fine to me.
-
She do is quite fine!
She makes the best pancake mix in the land.

I don't know either... probably just wasting bandwidth... and typing goofy twisted and slightly brainless goobely-goop
-
Lucky they not be crumpets, because then I would have to kill your cameras...
-
theres nothing like a nice bit of crumpet on a cold winters morning.
there..i said it.
-
I declare a Filmwasters Crumpet survey:
Part one - presentation
1: Crispy and brown?
or
2: Just toasted and soft on the inside?
Part2 - toppings
Jam?
Just Butter?
other weird twisted topping???
whos wasting bandwidth now ;D
-
Are you still talking about sex?
-
Nope, just sweet and sexy crumpets...
That's a big help isn't it?
Here, we have English muffins, hot and toasty.
-
I don't think that Wikipedia's English muffin article is entirely accurate ... but on the plus side their page on crumpets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crumpet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crumpet)) has fine pictures of both a buttered crumpet and "A Scottish fruit crumpet folded over, behind a Scotch pancake", as well as a history of the phrase "thinking man's crumpet". Take that Encyclopedia Brittanica!

in reply to Sausage:-
I like a crumpet to be warm, soft, well buttered and a good spread of Marmite on top.
Where's Finbarr Saunders when you need him ... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finbarr_Saunders (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finbarr_Saunders) - this link has a VERY pertinent example of Finbarr at his finest at the beginning)

10 out of 10 for style and technique! Performing the impossible task of seamlessly bringing this thread back onto the topic of film! Chortle chortle fnnar fnnar :D

Ah....warm, lightly toasted soft and squeezy crumpets, smothered in melted cornish butter and topped with rich, sticky golden honey.....this is not just a snack, this is an M&S snack!!! ;)
