For those of you who inhabit the world of online social networks I've set up pages/accounts/sites etc. for Filmwasters on a variety of the best known social networking sites. The main reason for doing this is to be able to push out FW announcements (e.g. new podcast available, new collaboration, new print exchange, new guest gallery etc.) to anyone who might be interested so please add the Filmwasters presence to your friends list when you get a chance.

Of all of the above I must confess to finding Facebook a horrible car crash of a site, but it's the one that is most likely to be in use by some of the good people here. Any tips and tricks re the usage of it would be appreciated. How can something so popular be some confusing? Can we set up a Filmwasters group? Is that worth doing?

Facebook wouldn't let me put Jan 1st 2005 as my date of birth, so the "Local Business" (the category I signed up under) that is Filmwasters.com has my actual DOB.
Twitter and Jaiku don't insist on tying you down to an age or a gender. They're. like totally free-spirited, man. Unburdened.

I never knew so many Filmwasters had MySpace accounts...assumed everyone was more into Facebook although come to think of it that may be solely based on the fact that I over heard Ailsa saying she was a Facebooker.

Haha. Leon. I think I slept on the wrong end of the bed last night. Sorry for the confusing words. I meant My-space of course. I just figured I'd start another place to park pictures hoping to get discovered by some mook. Not really. I didn't know you all were hovering around there. Funny how the world shakes like that.
