Just a little reminder that
World Toy camera Day is this weekend....October 19 and 20th.

that's right, we;re going to make a whole weekend of it, so get ready and have some fun with your toys.

I think in the future we will continue to make it a World Toy Camera Weekend since that's what people have kinda been doing anyway the past few years.

My ansco pix panorama is going to get a workout! Wheeee!

I have so many toys to choose from!  I usually default to a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye but I may do something else this time.  Does the Polaroid Big Shot qualify as a toy camera?  One shutter speed, One focal distance, Made of plastic, Plastic lens and it only cost $19.95 when it was new in 1971.  But it does have a rangefinder to hit that focal distance.

Have several plastic 35's but have run out of fast film. (Very gray around here and none of them have a 'B' setting.) Too bad, I have plenty of 120 but no toy cameras in that format. Shame on me.

Pretty close to it.
In the 70's my dad used to make about 9,000$ a year and that was a good salary at the time.

That’s about $126 today with inflation.  It was quite cheap compared to the cost of other cameras at that time.

I missed out on Holga week so I'm pretty determined to  give this a go with the Holga now i know this

I'm excited! The leaves have started changing, the air is cool and dry....the sun has been shining....Fingers crossed for everyone!

Here are my contributions, all shot with a Polaroid Big Shot using Fujifilm FP-100c and a MagiCube flash.  I went with an orange theme. Since the weather sucks this weekend I didn't venture from the house to shoot these.

Does an Agfa Clack qualify as a toy camera? Whatever it is, it's seriously fun to shoot. The dizzy boat picture is due to shooting from an open car window with the engine running. It's micro shake and not micro contrast!
