Nice start! I always see expired B&W film on eBay and I am tempted to pick it up. Maybe I should... You've got very nice results there.

These two are slides from Philly. I am considering starting using slides only for color and give up on C41.

Welcome back Urban!  Miguel, now that I have a nice slide projector I'm going to start shooting more slide film.  These were shot with my Baby Rolleiflex using Ilford HP5+ developed in Beer.

A nice weekend to you all! Good start! Miguel, you're getting very proficient with your Bronica -- good job! I envy you for being able to shoot street photography lawfully. Unfortunately, it's not that easy in Germany if you want to publish street photography. I like the shot of the hut, Kai. The leaf shot is brilliant, Bryan. Did you catch the leaf in mid-air or was it caught in a spider web? It's a magical shot.

I haven't taken any new shots in some time but I went on a family reunion last weekend and decided to take my Yashica Electro 35 GSN. I think I wrote before that I originally shot it "one last time" a few months ago because I wanted to sell it. I'm glad that I didn't, it's a great camera with a magnificent lens and it's a lot of fun to shoot with. Shot on Fomapan 100, developed in Caffenol-C-H (RS).

Ha ha. Not quite Francois. It's fountain pens. I even started doing two (!) podcasts on the topic.

Nice to see you back Urban, a man after my own heart too, I love a fountain pen. Are you podcasting in your native tongue? I'd be interested if I can understand it!

I'm still working my way through a trip to the Peak District a couple of weeks back.

I don’t have the patience to wait under a tree for a leaf to fall, it was in a spider web.  It looked like it was just floating in the air when I first saw it, I had to look real close to see the web.  I don’t know why the web was so hard to see maybe it was the lighting.  I can’t find any sign of it in the photo either, I didn’t do anything to remove it from the photo.

By the way, I did just sell my Yashica Electro 35 along with a few other cameras and such.  I had not touched it for a few years.  I’m using the funds to put together another piece of gear that I’ll be posting about in the near future.

Cool! I love that it's an untinkered shot of a floating leaf. :)

Looking forward to your post about this mysterious new piece of gear.

There are subjects that I avoid—people absorbed in using their mobile telephones, cute kittens, etc—and sculpture is one but when the piece seems call for interaction, I interact, with film.  Here are four of Anish Kapoor’s “Sky Mirror”, currently on display at the Fundação Serralves in Porto.  (No vantablack was used in the making of these pictures.)

The beauty of unedited raw imagery. No digital wizardy. Shot on defective film, silver gelatin print and Selenium toned.
