Great start to the weekend guys!
Jeff, I think your Mom will be more than pleased!
Mine's an almost catastrophe kind of photo. I made it yesterday Friday the 13th, so if superstition comes in to play at all...well you decide.
Took a short overnight road trip out to Tucumcari with a "share the love" Zenit E and a Pentacon f/1.8 50mm lens I got from Chris.
The advance lever started to drag mid roll and would not return, but I kept manually placing it back in order to make the best of things and to keep shooting..
Also, for some reason, I had set the ISO to 400, when the film inside was APX 100...oops...so I gave it a push in caffenol when developing....
Later, when checking out the camera, the shutter curtain started to drag on the slow speeds and then just stopped working altogether! Lucky I was finished with the roll by then. I think the Zenit may be DOA, I'll so some research and see what can be done...I like it a lot, so hope it is fixable.
So...here's my best shot out of the lot, which is kind of nostalgic looking to me.
The Blue Swallow Motel is mostly shot at night because it has cool neon...
anyway, here's my contribution.
