I haven't shot anything in a long time. While trying the Fuji Monochrome, I discovered it looks best when scanned in grayscale.

Wow, that portrait of Rob's son is really nice.
Also, nice boots Francois!   8)

and the barbed wire fence with the flowers is a favorite!

Mine's a Holga shot from a recent walk in the Bosque along the Rio Grande.  It was a nice day and warm, so I got to play a bit.

Another bumper crop of photo-goodness this weekend.  Loving them all but SLVR's first and Becky's trip down the Rio Grande are burning themselves onto my ceiling... 8)

Mine are a couple from last week's trip up north; this time York Minster https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/York_Minster which is a fascinating building and worth the entrance fee (which entitles the bearer to unlimited re-visits in the year immediately after purchase.)  Unlike St Paul's in London, they're also remarkably cool about taking photos - but not during ceremonies or using flash.

One from a recent hike. More from the series in the Photo Essays forums. Canon P, Canon 35/1.8, HP5+ in Caffenol C-H(RS):

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

I've developed and scanned a bunch of films this last week. The 6x6 Ektachrome 64 images were quite nice though a light leak ruined all shots  :( Next time...

So I have to choose going with colour negative: Kodak Color Plus 200.

Faro de Cavalleria and surrounding areas located at the Northeast of Menorca Island (Spain) Shot during a weekend in October.

Good show as always. I particularly like Fluminian's offering (is that really a double? I can't tell), both Reinhold's and Becky's toy camera shots, and Andrej's crouching oak tree hidden gravestone.

Here's one from my ongoing "NYC nightshots" series, shot on Kodak Gold that was apprently stored in the same desert as the Ektachromes that I recently sent to James. Out of 24 exposures, I was only able to save 4, and they all came out looking like this. Dark, grainy, and cool-looking, but just barely visible :D

Film does loose sensitivity as it ages... about 1 stop per 10 years in good storage conditions.

It was like the Ektachromes in another way as well ... the negs were very very thick and I think the edge markings were either invisible or barely-visible... In all my years of shooting often very out of date film, I only rarely see this.

Also digging beckys holga shot. Love the tones coming from hookstrapped's mountain, 02pilot's tombstone, Late Developer's cathedral ceiling.

Gonna plop another one here before the weekend finishes.
