I could see it.

Somewhere in past threads, Skorj posted the article we did for lightleaks....
"A world without Polaroid is a terrible place."

I don't get it... now I can see it but it still says it's not available under it... weird

Hey! I just realized something!
Since Holga is no more, all that remains in the plastic camera world are Superheadz (which are basically a footnote) and Lomography which holds a monopoly...

Cheers for the link, Mark. I didn't realize we had it stored right here on Filmwasters. I'll update my post earlier in this thread to include the FW article.

I spent a better part of a decade in denial and finally got one and started using it. I really wanted the flash one because I wanted the P&S 120 camera that could beat most 135 models in everything. The one I got the 120 SF produced some fairly sharp images, and might be considered defective.  ;)

Anyways, I really like to get a second one soon, and with a Instax back too.

I still have that silly Brownie that I respool 620 for.

For the sharpness, the new ones should be sharper than the old ones. This is not because the lenses are better, but more related to the fact that the new models use a smaller aperture than the old ones.

Originally, the camera was at about f/13 when it was supposed to be f/8 and f/11...

glad I re-read this, missed they had closed :-(

just bought a back up 120N to use my polaroid stash with before the Holga prices get stupid, and the holga is about the only non polaroid camera I use these days when shooting real film.... I thought they were doing well, ebay is always flooded with new ones...

I don't know, it's up to the moderators for galleries and such, but maybe we should start shooting now for a possible first of year collaboration....

something like....
"The Holga Made Me Do It" or
 "For the Love of Holga"

Moderators?

Now I have an image of John Belushi changing, "HolGA! HolGA!" Will we have to wear white sheets while shooting? ;)

As long as it doesn't make us behave like college animals, I think we're OK ;)
