How To Master Your Presence by L. A. Nolan, on Flickr

I spoke with these guys after they were finish.  They let me know that they were practicing their awareness of each other's position and movements through touch. If they were to become blind, they would still know where their opponent is and be able to react through reflexes.  Awesome!

Some shots from the Palouse shot with a Pentax ME.  The first one is expired Kodak Gold 200, the others are Ektar 100.

Wow O2. What a great composition. The repetition of shapes and colors is really cool. It draws you right into the photo.

Fluminian, Kevin, those pictures are beautiful.
lanolan, great moment you captured there. I was wondering if they are practicing Tai Chi. Really reminds me of the few classes I had in the past.

Got a pinhole from West Bay (or Broadchurch for the TV junkies ;)). It is an accidental double exposure. The 2nd shot was up the cliff, there are actually no rocks on the beach.

Another weekend, same high quality!
I've been fooling around with some expired (2007) Fujichrome RTPII 64T film, exposed it at box speed with an 85B filter.

Thanks James and Francois. Just a lucky confluence of elements a few weeks ago up in Woodstock.

I bought yet another Yashica 44 to feed my 4x4 habit and it had a roll of Kodacolor II in it.  Naturally I souped it (8 minutes at 90 degrees F) and I got three frames, one of which was this.  I almost wish I had shot it...the magenta shift really works as does the double exposure and what might be some base fog.

For some reason I'm feeling the majestic landscapes: I keep going back to Bryan's Palouse Hills and Scape's color shot of the Grand Canyon.  Lovely stuff.

Thanks Satish. The really funny bit for me was that all my fellow photowalkers were carrying (semi) profi stuff and I was making due with my trusty AE-1 (which ran out of battery and making it a little less trusty so I had no other option then to go for the Holga). And while my fellow walkers were discussing frames per second, hypersonic autofocus motors and size....  of their memory cards I had nothing left but my Holga. Though I even like this one better then all the Stuff I did with the AE-1 that day ( before the battery went dead).

There's not really that much that can beat a Holga... maybe apart from a hammer or a baseball bat  :o

I do put a rubber band around it so the back wont fall of when you accidentally move the clips that hold it in place

Awww Gary, how sweet :)

I'm sneaking in before midnight (for me anyway, and that's what counts! ;) ) I finally finished developing the backlog of B&W and now I'm working on scanning in the rolls. It wasn't too bad - just four rolls of 35mm - and they hadn't been sitting TOO long (the oldest roll was from this summer.)

Here's one I pulled out from a roll of HP5 shot in a K1000 at Lime Rock during the Labor Day vintage races. Souped in Caffenol.

Wow, you are good! The guy on the left was practicing Tai Chi!  I can't remember the name of the martial art that the guy on the right was using.

Since it is the day that we Americans celebrate the large scale genocide of the original inhabitants of this land, I declare that it is still the weekend. In addition, it is Roid Week 2015, so here is my contribution to both :)
