I wish that darkroom was here in NYC. The places I've used have all closed. I'm trying to figure out how I can set up a darkroom in my studio apartment but I cannot figure out how to manage it:(  I have the equipment but not the space.

I don't know if I would call it love, since in those days people couldn't afford to buy a new camera every other year, you had one that worked and you stuck with it. It's these days the cameras became an accessory, no longer just a tool.

I know... but cameras have always been a type of status symbol.
But when you manage to get a Leica as brassy as this without sandpaper, it means you really really love the thing.
You rarely see a camera with ass much brass showing through.
