As a Geologist I was pretty excited about the title of this thread.  Since it's only available to people in the UK I'll just imagine it's what I thought it was.   By the way Chalk is a type of sedimentary rock so that would be a great nickname for a Geologist.

Clearly, neither of you were avid readers of NME then?   

I was (and still am) really into music and used to see his name credited in the paper and dream about being able to shoot at the gigs I attended.
