LOVE the reflection in shot #2. Also it looks like there is a creature of some sort coming out of the briny depths to consume that boat.

As Francois suggested, I shot my last roll of Fomapan at EI200 and souped it in HC110 dilution E. And by Jove I think it worked! Definitely the most pleasing roll out of the 3 or 4 I've developed (other rolls shot at 200 or 400, dev'd in HC110H or Rodinal). I need to try this recipe with bright outdoor skies, since that's what I liked least about the other rolls...

These were shot with my new Zenit-B with an Industar-50-2 50mm f:3.5 lens. The film is Recordak Dacomatic Microfilm that I got from James, Semi-Stand developed in Rodinal 1-100 for 1 hour.

Ah! Another microfilm convert! I really like the vice photo. The grain of that film with that developer just seems so pleasing to me. Not sure what it is, but it's the Baby Bear of film grain.

Fine fine pictures here, James' spaghetti portrait is super-fine imho.

Guess what I have this week? Yes, another recovered and inverted peel-apart instant neg. Fuji FP100c out of a Polaroid Colorpack II. Did I become hooked? Most probably. Next week I'll bring regular film pics.

Really digging these, especially the delicate shadows of the first and the geometry of the third.

Also keep looking at Reinhold's instant shot and the Bryan's microfilm shots, which have a neat glow to them.

Thank you, I'm surprised the tree shot worked at all. It was a weird combination of shooting into the sun behind the hill, mist, shadows and lens flare. Simple really, lol!

I was going to ask you how long you souped in dil E, but I got impatient and just made up the 10min number. But now since we have time, how long did you soup in dil E?

This is the best one until now (IMHO)....

Btw, great results from Kentmere (cheapest available film here in Italy - €3.00 each 35mm roll)

You're going to like it better with a bit lower contrast, it's much easier to add contrast after developing than reducing it. Besides, the lower contrast will bring more detail to the skies.

I made a mistake this weekend.....
- going from iso 400 to 100, and switching to Rodinal..... turns out theres a learning curve to both, but it's hard to trouble shoot scientifically when you change two variables at once. -So, out of 4 rolls, I sort-of like these two shots...

No kidding. That middle one is intense! I don't think it is just that scanning
