I like the skull in the pond, dark but graphic. Rather than a pond here is a ditch filled with purple Azolla weed taken on 10 year out of date Fuji NPH.

Loving Ezzie's clock tower, Charles' color shot (that you consistently produce photos this good with a Holga is either impressive or infuriating, I'm not sure which  ;) ), and Dave's skull.

Mine is taken from within one of New England's picturesque covered bridges. Canon L1, Canon Serenar 50/1.9, Tri-X in Caffenol C-H(RS).

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

I'm not sure if it's because I looked at this immediately after Dave's skull shot (so creepy and so beautiful!) but at the top left of the first picture, the arrangement of windows in the background, framed by the curve in the tree branch looks like a face to me. And now I can't NOT see it!

And while I'm here, I love the reflections in the second shot :)

Thanks Limr, now that's all I see in that shot, didn't notice it at first.

Scapevision, is that selfie shot on the path to the lighthouse?  It's been years since I've been there but that looks very familiar.

A little snow scene from a week ago.  Thought that was end of it, but there's more snow falling as I write this.  Bronica ETRS with expired Portra 160 NC.  Braced against a stairway at 1/15, f/4.

Got two new rolls of color to take to the lab tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have something more recent, but just in case I stunk up the joint and don't get anything good, here's one from a couple of weeks ago:

This has to be the best weekend thread for a while, IMO.

- Kevin's pinhole of the Shard; what a great start
- Charles' shot from Mexico; stunning colours
- Dave's "skull"; sublime and surreal
- Fluminian's first; such tones and detail
- Photo Utopia's second; the colours in the second shot are gorgeous
- Ezzie's Petzvar shots just "glow"
- 02 Pilot's bridge shot; love the geometry and the controlled light
- Nick M's Thorpeness shot; stunner and I love the sky
- Scapevision's selfie is the best I've seen - what a place....!
- Diane's "Cow" pinhole; woah - that is amazing...!!
- Terry's night shot; superb lighting and depth
- Mickld's bin in the forest; tremendous!
- Leonore's soda shop; stunning colours. Timeless.
- SLVR's "Trespassers"; so well seen.

Mine are a couple taken yesterday morning as the skies were getting darker as the eclipse we didn't see was starting to happen. I was having a walk around the east side of London (Commercial St / Brick Lane). Olympus OM2n, 35mm/f2, Ilford HP5+ and a bit of Lightroom processing.

Wonderful moody image Terry!
Love the colours and grain, it somewhat reminds me of one of my favourite painting; Magritte´s  "The Empire of Light".

I agree that this weekend has been stellar. I have really enjoyed all of the posts.

Here are a couple of the first shots out of the Bronica S2a.

First on Ektar using the Nikkor-O.C 50mm f/2.8. Does anything beat Ektar in the full sun?

And one on Acros using the Nikkor-P 70mm f/2.8 dev'd in Caffenol-C-L

And a third: Mauricio, that's gorgeous! Such depth and texture!

And James, that first one of the yellow flowers is amazing. I just adore the colors, and that shallow depth of field is so dreamy.

Thank you all for the kind words! Hand tinting plates it's done with dry pastels. Shave the pastels until the powder get really thin and apply with sable brushes, all done before varnishing.

Thanks for the compliments. That was my last roll of 120 Ektar. I may have to get some more . It's one of those where you take it out of the tank and you immediately know that at least the colors are going to be spectacular. Focus, composition, etc. are all up to me, but the color is all about the Ektar. I've probably shot 5 or 6 rolls of this in my life, but every time I say "I should shoot more of this stuff!". Maybe I should take my own advice. ;D
