My friend's London Fashion Week stuff in the NYTimes
« on: February 23, 2015, 05:12:03 PM »
I love her stuff.  As she wrote me:

"i shot it in digital and film, but of course the digital didn't come close to the look/feel of the film, so ended up sending only an analog edit. here is their edit!

i managed to develop+scan+ edit in 3 hours.
Sam helped me blow dry the negs..."

Great photos!  Two things:

1.  What film did she use?
2.  How do I make those kick pleat flares mine?   ;D

She uses cheap drugstore color negative 200, which I think is Fuji

Nice work!
Really cool she uses cheapo drugstore film too!
Also, loved the Debbie Harry interview on the jump from the side of the page...

Thanks for showing us your friends work!

Like I always said, cheap film is always under rated.

I'm not usually a fan of fashion but those are beautiful photos and the grain works well with the slightly 1960's look of some of the clothes...

Actually, it's quite often shot at box speed  :P

Nice, some really good shots there thanks for sharing.
There's more to this photography thing than meets the eye.
