Love that dragster TinTin. I haven't developed anything from this week, but here is one from last week with my Kodak Instamatic 500 on Dacomatic Recordak film. That lens actually is pretty nice.

Finally catching up on scans. Here's one from a roll I got via James (jharr) - expired Ilford Professional film shot with OM 1 and Macro 50mm f2. Developed in Xtol.

Untitled by Mike is always hungry.

OK, you're all in for it now. I'm back from vacation, and I've finished scanning all 19 rolls that I shot. Still lots of work to do, but suffice it to say that you can expect a fairly regular stream of this stuff for the foreseeable future. I'll restrain myself in the weekend threads; expect something in the Photo Essays section fairly soon. For now, let's kick things off with something from the first night. Vogtländer Perkeo II, Kodak Ektar.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

More amazing pinholes Paul!

Zorki 4K with Industar-50 lens.  Kodak Tmax 100 Semi-Stand developed in Rodinal 1-100 for 1 hour.
The first two were taken on a hike near Lake Wenatchee, Washington on Sunday.

Since we seem to be doing a car theme how about a school bus.  This is in Austin, Nevada taken on my way home after spending close to 3 months in Eureka.  Same camera and roll of film as above.

Don't give up because of Paul, he was knighted by the Queen (or something to that effect) for his pinholes.

I know, I know! But that's what I had in the camera.  :-\

There's this option...but it's cheating and just not the same.

I do scan my Black and White negatives with a digital camera and then convert it to Black and White.  I do this to remove any stray colors that can sneak in there.  If my camera has a Black and White mode I haven't figured it out yet (Olympus OM-D E-M5).

I do scan my B&W negs in 48 bit color and do the B&W conversion in Lightroom, because I trust LR's algorithms more than Epson's *shrug*

Matchbox pinhole on paper negative sloshed around a bit in caffenol.
The road to Mesita, is an old section of Route 66 west of Albuquerque.  It's in fairly good shape and there are cows wandering about on the road for some added fun.

Pinhole projects are abundant it seems....I'm working on two at the moment.
One is a 21 day meditation, the other one is still under wraps, but I'll share it at the end of August.
I'm blogging the 21 day one at http://matchboxmeditation.blogspot.com/

Earlier in the year a friend had given me two gift tokens for the Bluebell Railway, which i'd not been on since they opened the line to East Grinstead. So last Friday the 15th I figured I'd take a day off, load up and go down there.

For several years now I've had the Voigtlander 15mm Aspherical Super-Wide Heliar lens for my Bessa R3a, but never used it all that much as I've never really got the hang of it. So i decided to use that as much as possible. Sometimes it's hard to be close enough, and I think one thing I need to keep in mind with this lens is to have something strong in the foreground. These were taken on Lucky SHD100.

Passengers must not cross the line by Antony J  Shepherd, on Flickr

Platform 1 by Antony J  Shepherd, on Flickr

I'd also taken my old Minolta Hi-Matic F loaded with a roll of the Agfaphoto Vista Plus film from Poundland. It's not bad film for a quid, but I always find it has a kind of old-fashioned 'look' to it, and taking pictures of old stuff just adds to that.

Horsted Keynes by Antony J  Shepherd, on Flickr
What decade is this again?

Last but not least, I also took along the old Kodak No.2 Brownie, and while I was taking one shot a passerby said "Now there's a real camera!" and seemed quite enthused I was using it.
I was shooting my last roll of TMAX100 which was nearly a year out of date as I'd not shot much medium format this year, and when I hung the negs up to dry I figured this image would be a failure as it was badly underexposed.

Moody by Antony J  Shepherd, on Flickr
But it's got a kind of moody quality to it I like.
