OM-10, 50mm 1.8 TMAX 100
I was glad to read this since my OM10 is the only decent 35mm film camera I have left (second best is my Stylus 140, then a couple of cheaper point and shoots, lastly are my homemade pinholes). I recently re-purposed my OM10 as the head on a MacGuyver enlarger (made from cardboard boxes and tape). Ok, you can stop laughing at my low tech cheap hardware now please.
I recently got into Caffenol. After having messed around with prints and pinholes on vintage paper, I did my first Caffenol film yesterday. It was an unfinished roll of Safeway brand ISO-400 C41 exp2007 that's been sitting in the Olympus Stylus 140 since 2005. I took a couple of new frames before unloading it, and left myself a few inches of unexposed film to stuff into a pinhole. I used a ceramic Dutch oven as a developing pot and was surprised to find success with no light leaks! Here's the first quick 8x6" print on Ilford M-IV RC Deluxe Pearl. All apparent errors are due to the MacGuyver enlarger, a cheap scanner, and my fumbling hands (disability). The negative looks much better. It was done as a proof of concept, and was never intended to look good.
I was hugely surprised that it worked at all! I have no light meter so everything is guestimated. (Other Caffenol prints I've made with this enlarger using old colour negatives have worked out well).
