Shall we post our shots of mushrooms, toadstools and other fungi?
I think so!

My inferiority complex intensifies whenever I post a picture right after one of Donkey Dave's.

*sigh*

But here goes anyway because I actually have a mushroom picture :)

Posted this a while ago--taken with my 'new' ROC long-focus Premo (testing the closeup capability).  Possibly the only shot of a toadstool I have.

Nice work everybody. Keep 'em coming. BTW, I have a beautiful print that Leon made me of one of his fungus shots. In the absence of him posting here I'll just look at it an smile a happy smile  :D ;D

Here's a a photo of a spore print and the mushroom I used to make it:

I was doing some lens testing (Soviet 50mms, in case you're wondering) and just happened to have a mushroom in one of the shots. So I cropped it down and here it is times four, each with a different lens.

An old one. Hmm bad scan, seems it lacks some sharpness.
I have some more but I can't figure out how to resize them so they can upload.

Some amazing shots here everyone! great to see people enjoying the mushrooms this year - I particularly like the colour renditions.

I've not been able to lug my film gear around recently, but the shrooms are amazing this year, I'm so gutted to not be out there snapping them. I have taken some digi snaps, but they are for a different place :0)

here are some old ones for the mean time:

Lovely shots all!
I was hoping Leon would post!!!!
I like the color ones too, but hard to pick a fav.

It is neat to see all the different 'shrooms and their settings.

One I did a little while ago. I had used a cheap Wally World tripod I bought 10 years ago to hold the RB67. It was the only one that I could hold that low to the ground. I was afraid I'd bust everything, or even camera blur from the vibrations! It was very dim even at noon, and the shadows did not help in focusing.

The more adversity I had, the better the image.

I am inspired by all of these shots. Not even a 'mediocre' one in the lot. It rained here in sunny San Diego today, so maybe there will be some fungus for me to shoot soon! :)

Thanks everyone for sharing.
