heh- Thanks Cam.
I should have guessed that snap would turn up here
I think the tiredness of, at that stage, three days of intensive festivalling
(uh-oh- little red line says computer doesn't know this verb, I do wish spell check would try and keep up), and Ed, this means not enough coffee for me is showing in my body language there..
My head still reeling. I must have visited about 30 of the exhibitions dotted through the beautiful Daylesford highlands, as well as two seminars and one workshop- all inside four days. And to intensify the experience, I was staying in a rented cottage with up to seven photographers, film makers, art lecturers and exhibitors, so everything we had seen and done was discussed, compared, and enthused about, around the fire along with home cooking and much red wine.
And if you weren't doing this at the cottage, there was always the festival club, where a speaker, convener or artist could be bought, with a drink , until late in the night. The art philosophy and impassioned photography discussion only stopped after I dropped off the last person home at 11.00pm last night. We solved most of the worlds problems during our 8 hour drive back to Adelaide.
I'll post a review of the pinhole workshop and links to the best artists I saw, once I've had a day or two to do some mental filing.
Cam, I'll email you a list of the other "must see" exhibitions for you check out on yr return visit.
