It was Friday last time I looked - Oct 11th
« on: October 11, 2013, 09:12:51 AM »
So, my offer for the commencement of the weekend;

Snap of The Crofter from my long-lasting blog of the same. Taken with the Zorki4/Juipter12 on AgfaASP400s traffic film and doused in ID11.

A little something from the ridiculously sharp (seriously, it's almost too sharp in some circumstances) Zeiss Tessar on my Certo Super Dollina II, Kentmere 100 in Caffenol.

Continuing the black and white theme and also reposting up this shot from the night shots thread. Probably the best shot I'll get out this weekend.

Beautiful thread. Andreas opener is sublime. Astrobeck's pooch photo is gorgeous and the rest are just the usual blend of brilliant.

Is that the Arsat/Zodiac 30? I'm really considering a P6 on the basis of this lens alone.

Yes it's a zodiak, courtesy of Terry. I've never used a fisheye before, it really does change your view of the world. I've become a bit addicted to it, eventually you'll all be rolling your eyes begging me to stop using it, lol!

I couldn't find the right way to link images from flickr so I used right mouse click on the image, select resolution  and then copy URL.

Hey Phil,

If you have opted into the new photo page layout it seems there is no bbcode feature in this beta version. If you click on the blue "help and feedback" button at the bottom left of the page you can opt out of the beta test and return to the previous version.

Tried the Exa 1A out for the first time yesterday in Stratford On Avon. I forgot a light meter so had to guess, most times it was close enough. I used Kodak Black and White + (C41) that expired in 2003, only because I was in a hurry and it's the first roll I grabbed on the way out. I really enjoyed the camera, despite some minor annoyances about it.

Here's one of them:

I actually shot some photos this weekend for this! First time pushing film from 400 to 1600, just some Fuji 400 I found (Cheapest I could get). Also first time using color film in the Mamiya AutoXTL and just having fun with it. I had also did some tweaks while processing this roll getting the speed up and keeping the temp "hot" while in the tank. I learned a lot from this, and it was exciting to see all of those neatly exposed images right from the reel.
