Let the weekend begin!
« on: August 21, 2013, 06:44:38 PM »
I'm free from work the rest of the week so I thought this would be the perfect excuse for an early start of the weekend thread ;)

I've been feeding my newly aquired lomo lc-a (original ussr anno -88) with some rolls of polypan f+ and here are some of the results:

Processed the last roll of C41 from my unicolor kit. This one came out very very thin. Managed to save a few exposures. Im actually impressed on how much I did save. Color shifts galore. Also one from the IIIa that should have went up last week

Nice start jojonas, love the storyboard look. My last day tomorrow before a week off so feels like a Thursday here. A pinhole from me, possibly the last before I'm tempted to sell as I'm really not getting it.

Three photos from my Voigtländer Vito strung together:

Something from my light-leaking Smena-6:

And a little burst of color from the Konica III. Quite pleased with this camera - great lens and very easy to use despite the unconventional advance mechanism:

What?  It's not Thursday yet?

More from the sunny southeast of England from me.  First one is in the Barbican before pints in the Globe (OK--pints and a shot or two) and the second is afterward.  Draw your own conclusions.  (A couple of Suspicious Persons on the right there...)

A couple shots from a recent trip down south. First from the Bronica, second the SWC. Still have four rolls of color to develop.

Like the still lives Charles, and the women portraits Carlos, not to mention the pinholes dave. Well done.

These are from my DIY 6x17. It has developed a slight warp, resulting an a bit of perspective shift. So will need a slight overhaul. But it is still fun to use.

I like Terry's double x triple exposure and Dave's handheld pinholes, I've been meaning to try that since Becky's triumph!

A simple Holga shot for me, but I quite like it.

Two more from the same roll, Rollei, tmax 400, I do not know why all my shots with the Rollei 2.8gx came out underexposed, and the light meter works just right, mmmhhh, I´ll give it a try today using the handheld light meter  8)

I love the diversity of subjects and techniques in these weekend threads - and the undogmatic approach that everyone here are taking on photography.

Having some fun with the Mamiya RB67 ProS and shooting all the Ektar I want. Man, learning how to use this has been the most fun month in a very long time.

Now for the next weekend when I am going to use all of that Portra 160 I got on some people in Phoenix at Saboten Con. Time for some fun and art!

Great images Cadha13.  Especially the first one.

I find my Mamiya 645 S. heavy. I like RB67 and RZ67 very much, but the
weight is too much for me. I presume you used  a tripod for these shots.

The top one was taken with a tripod, but the other ones were taken handheld. I rode on my bike for about 20 minutes to get to the theatre with the camera on my neck strap. Then I proceeded to watch the movie with camera "exposed." I have to say it was an adventure on my first outing without a neck strap. My arms grew limp after some 30 minutes of walking around. But I have to practice being with the camera, using the camera and learning with it. Any other 35mm SLR I could practically place in my pockets, in pieces if I have to. Not the RB67, I don't even have a camera case right now that can hold it. It my hands, or neck strap, nowhere else.

A little Sunday bonus action, courtesy of my latest creation and a roll of Ektar 100:

What I've done is reversed the lens in my Kodak Brownie Hawkeye. No digital manipulation on these (apart from dust removal), just the effect of the lens. I am rather pleased with the results.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

I have an Optech USA one I've had for a while. Just got the end clips and was done. I got the most heavy duty strap they had when I got my A900 years ago. That's one heck of a strap, very load spreading and comfortable after all those years of use.
