Thanks for posting this, what a great way to work, whilst working! Some really neat shots of the Big Apple from the road there.

I have a feeling I'd be stopped over here, as I would if I was seen holding a mobile phone, for 'driving without due care and attention'.  The closest I've got it to take a few when lingering in jams...

I'm not very comfortable with rolling and doing something else at the same time... I leave that to the experts

Though I did notice that he doesn't frame when he shoots... this can only mean re-cropping in the darkroom or at scan time.

He also uses a small point & shoot. By the sound, it could very well be a small Stylus Epic (the lens moves forward to focus when you press the button and moves back in before winding the film)

Got one in each of my cars, loaded with cheap 400 colour, ready to snap
Love this kind of docu/snapping! All to often getting distracted by visual impression from behind the wheel. Got to catch them.

Yes Yashica T4, awesome little camera.

I wonder what setting he uses though.
As I'm not a user of flashes, I'm shutting it off with the "night mode" most of the time.
But it leads me to unsharp images, because the shutter stays
open longer then I expect it too.

I guess he could use some iso 400 film and pushs it in general?

question - how does it focus through glass? I though these P+S are normally IR focusing?

You can set it to infinity-mode, which sets the auto focus off.

Maybe that answers my flash question too.
I need to try if the flash is set off in this mode at any light situiation.
