What? No boats?

How about a bike?

Alright then, one boat, but even better - two cranes - I love cranes:

Still on the road but I found a great lab and managed to get some rolls souped and scanned.  First one is down the hill from my hotel in Vancouver, the second is an abandoned railway line in Kirkland (Seattle).  Both shot with the Bronica ETRS; trying out my new 105mm lens on the railway shot.

No boats yet. Great images, Eirik. You got boats, cranes and bikes. How about some cars?

I've got water, but no boats. Two more from the Rolleiflex on Ektar 100. I'll have it out this weekend to see what it can do with black & white.

Any man who can see what he wants to get on film will usually find some way to get it;
and a man who thinks his equipment is going to see for him is not going to get much of anything.

Both my images this week are pinholes with infrared film. Any forms of transport which might have been present, will have moved out of frame while shooting at ISO 6 and f/128 ....

Lovely metal, Ezzie.  You're right about the Acros combo.

Mind you, Delta 100 and Neopan 400 hold up quite well.

35mm pinhole on Polypan-f.

Old PAxette that had frosted glass for a lens now pinholed up with hole poked in tin-foil with pin. It works!

KevinAllan, those infrared pinholes are outstanding.

I'm sure I've got boats somewhere, but we seem to be more on cars this weekend.

Cars. I like cars.

Thanks Ralph!
I'm actually surprised that they didn't come out more blurry. This was shot under construction lights in a mall that's going through some renovations. I was stuck shooting at 1/8 sec. with a fully opened lens and no flash. I just held my breath as I waited for the click...

Fantastic group portrait, Carlos - perfect composition and timing.  Liking Paul H's coastal scenes too.

A shot from last weekend, exploring the watery flatlands of east Norfolk.

I made a pinhole from a 020 coronet box (which was to dirty to see out the sight glasses) to give to a work colleague but thought I'd test it out first- these are the best out of 2 Acros rolls and 2 agfa optima 2

Happy Weekend, everyone! I think the summer weather brings us northerners out like ants. :)

Ezzie, I could look at Acros in MF all day, love that contrast on the bike, but Sandeha is right, too. :) If I were smart, I would only ever shoot in monochrome. But where's the FP4+ love? Ah, there it is! Thanks Nick and Dave! Gotta love those chocolatey deep tones. That APX is nice too, Paul.

In love with your pinholes, Diane and Kevin.

Phil, I think we should start a collection to keep you stateside. Honorary American. You'll have to increase your processed cheese consumption, I'm afraid. And drink some crap beer. Sorry, my friend, these are the rules.

Four rolls of Acros in 120 to develop, a roll of Kentmere 100 to develop, and a couple of rolls of Fujicolor Super HQ to drop off. At this rate I'll be posting oldies all summer, but there are certainly worse problems to have.

A few test shots from my new-to-me Spotmatic SPII with a beat-to-hell Mamiya/Sekor lens that unexpectedly has my undivided attention. Can't stop smiling when I'm shooting with this camera, so now I can't stop shooting. Hopefully it will be a productive union. :) Its battery door is soundly frozen shut, but Francois' favorite paper exposure meter always does the trick, so now I just tell people that needle is to show you which way is left.

All expired Fujicolor Super HQ. It somehow seems appropriate to use garage sale film for the first test roll.

Some lovely photos on this weekend thread - as usual. Particular favourites are Phil's Cadillac in Tucumcari and Andrea's portrait of Mick.

I've been doing a little scanning this weekend and here's a couple taken in Southwark (London) a couple of weekends back when Lara and I went to see Paul Mitchell's work in the Arena exhibition.

Rainy day scanning. I shot this Downtown Tampa photo when I visited the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts. They had a Vivian Maeir exhibition on. I thought I would walk around and make photographs with the panoramic camera. Something out of my comfort zone.
