Thanks for posting, Sandeha. Wonderfully atmospheric shots. I have been meaning to try and capture Bath after dark for an age now - damn that lazy gene  >:( and alcohol, naturally :-[

Yes, these are fabulous! I particularly like the first image with the fan-like light projecting through the arch window. Like Phil, have been wondering about doing this in Lincoln sometime...will add that to my unfeasibly long list of project aspirations ;)

Very cool, Sandeha. I very much enjoyed these photos. I know a lot of the locations captured in the 30's photos....Villiers St in particular has changed a lot. Very inspirational set...make me want to grab the LF and a tripod, hit the streets at 2am....and get arrested.

Wonderful find Sandeha.

I would imagine that before London cleaned up the infamous smog these atmospheric views were commonplace

So is the atmospheric conditions better today than the were then?

One day before I croak I hope to visit London.

Oooohhh! I think I watched something on that the other day. Maybe that show 'Mysteries at the Museum' or something... I can't remember. But I remember them talking about how the cold air and hot air had created a 'bubble' of toxic air.
