Took the Kowa6/HP5 out for a stroll over on the island of Great Bernera. Bit of frost around but lovely all the same. Then I came home and over-developed it!

Now drinking green-tea.

Andrea that´s beautiful, the Kowa is such a nice camera.

One shot I took of my father, brother and myself with the Polaroid 195 and fuji fp100b, I think it might be the first time I have a picture of ourselves. I am the one at the right  :)

I took the 'new' Yashica 44 out for a spin Monday in Manhattan.  It was gloriously foggy and a bit spooky.  Efke R100 stand-developed in Rodinal at 1:100.

Damn - I should be in bed.

Holga shot on tmax 400. This came from a fat roll with light leaks all over the place. This is one of the few that (barely) came out. Looks like a occult nightmare  :)

Lovely, but then again I am slightly biased.

Quite possibly the best glass in my cupboard, the Kowa Six/Super 66 lenses. I love them, but problem is the shutters stick. My 150 (f3.5 - beat that!) is cranky, but works most of the time. But the 85/2.8 is a nightmare. Been to Ross twice, and still the shutter won't close properly before the mirror goes up. I would hate to give the camera up. Spent the last two evenings getting the film back light tight again. ;)

Phil - the sun on that shot and the shadows are so crisp, such a contrast to London today.

I've fallen back in love with my XA2. So handy to have in your pocket.

Awesome work all! Nigel, i know that feeling of the XA series. When i get in a roll shooting with my XA its hard to put down.

I'm going to need some filmwasters' help. Im going to get a shot printed for my sister of her horse for christmas. I did a little shoot but am having a hard time picking my fave. I have one in mind but Id love to see what you all think. I want to make sure i pick the best one!

Talking champagne, drinking Laurent Perrier Rose mixed with Jacko tunes at the firm Xmas party is a BAD mix... Pun intended... Saw some sights I still can't shake outta my head...

Nice hue to the blues Phil;
Cool rockin' all those 12's together Windy (shame on my Yashica 12); and
Nigel, the first shot is ace and would love to see more street shots of Asian folk in general.

tintin: last one for me. in the first the house on the horses head is bugging me and between the second and the last I think in the last the horse looks calmer and the background works nicely with it.

Based on his expression, the last one. First one he's a bit startled, second more inquisitive and last one quite happy with the situation. Good job getting his ears pricked in all three though.

Hi Nigel, yes I develop it myself. Any merit goes to the film not to myself as I do not do anything special, I use Kodak D-76 as developer and follow the times given by the iphone application massive dev chart. This roll I developed it at 27º so developing time was 8´30s. Yes I guess I should have developed it at 21º but to be truth I do not see any differences developing at different temperatures and adjusting the times (I am sure I must be saying something heretic..). I do one gentle tank inversion every minute trying to obtain a lesser contrast and thus higher dynamic range (one more heresy here?).

After developing I play in Photoshop camera raw with the curve and contrast and very light sharpening. In Sudan I used very little contrast but usually I go for a deeper contrast, but then when I got the Rollei that changed. I would say that tmax400 is a very versatile film.  :)
