HCB and track cycling

There's a great edition of Rouleur mag out at the mo with HCB images of track cycling. And, there's a good podcast http://rouleurmagazine.wordpress.com/2012/10/11/issue-34-podcast/  talking about these images with John Cooper Clarke !!

Well, it's a sport that started in USA and went all round the world including Montreal at one time. have look here http://www.6dayracing.ca/history.html

The link is fascinating thanks!  I'm doing London to Paris in 24hrs next year and thought that would be hard but these blokes were in a different league!

My boy is dying to meet him after watching exploits on You-Tube...

Yes, I know. My mom's uncle used to go to the arena where it took place to watch the race. Since he was French, he went there with his charcuteries a bottle of wine and watched the show all day with some fellow countrymen... I can just imagine all the whining that went on ;)
