Film life in Atlanta?
« on: July 30, 2012, 04:40:21 PM »
Hey fellow wasters,

This is actually my first "new topic" post. I just moved down to Atlanta from New York City and am looking for film resources (stores, developing, "scenes," etc.) now that I have some more time on my hands. Most of my cameras are still on the moving truck which should arrive any day now, but I thought I'd get a discussion going or anything. Most of the Atlanta Flickr groups are pretty inactive.

Anyone from or live around here?

There is an ASMP chapter in Atlanta. You could start there: http://www.asmpatlanta.org/

Ah! KEH! You're right, totally forgot about that one. Those other links are really helpful, too. Thanks, everyone! Can't wait for all my gear to get here. Seems like the golden hour is twice as long down here because the sun doesn't immediately disappear behind buildings, I might go a little nuts with clouds photos.
