I suppose it's just a Nikon F mount so could be used on a film body- but then you might as well use a holga, eh?

Also, look at the back of it- is that some kind of weird zone-plate oddity to make it more holga-y on a small film gate? Otherwise I imagine it'd be fairly sharp and dull if you were just using a tiny portion of the lens coverage.

They are definately set up for digi cams. Here are few shots with a Canon Rebel film body. http://cgmoyer.blogspot.com/search/label/hlc

I have my Russian Helios lens mounted on my DSLR,  I kind of feel less guilty...

I was gifted one that I use on my Nikon FG body occasionally and the length is just too long, I think. It's never crappy or wide enough.

(Cue Diana Mini, which is often too crappy.)

I've been tempted to borrow someone's fisheye adapter and see if that helps, but as DS said, I should really just buy a Holga.

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried the Diana lens adapters on a film SLR?

It does look an awful lot like the aperture plate on the Rodenstock Imagon portrait lens
