I came across this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-18489694 on the BBC today.

The sentiments expressed in the article in my mind complements the images beautifully.  Some if not all of these images may not have been taken on film (for which I apologies) but to me they show the art of photography.

I like the three black & white images best and think the winner is the best of these.
