I'm absolutly excited. It's so easy. I used the alternative development at 30°C.
Scanning was no problem and i only had to make same minor color corrections.

Now how to make an interesting focus test when it's thrashing down outside with an Atlantic gale? Not so easy, but it has to be done ... Well, at least it's music, so it's something to read. This is some of my preferred listening.

Aldis-Plano Anastigmat 150/6.8, wide open in both shots, at full extension, 300mm. First straight on, the second with swings on front and rear. Era 100 4x5 with a yellow filter, in Rodinal.

Lovely stuff! I particularly like Britt's 'Chamonix' shots. Gorgeous. TinTin - love that mildly distorted Superheadz look. I'm tempted to pick one up to keep in my coat pocket at all times.

Britt. I love the swing shot. Just lovely. Then were was some other great photos but I always forget who posted what when I try to write a post.

Since I seem to have given my life away to the factory (with the no photo rule, dammit(welding robots are just so beautiful)) I just seem to spend my time drooling over others photographs. Time to develop some old rolls and start up the scanner I suppose.

Sapata: you can actually wipe off that brown stuff from your polaroids. just use a napkin and rub gently in circles. under the brown goop you will often find lovely colors!

Mmmhh, I want to buy another camera and my wife is not happy at all, truth is that in addition to the camera I want to buy another NEW camera arrived yesterday to my home in Spain, am I sick???

Polas were shot with Polaroid 108 (from year 2000), which casts blue tones when no warm light around.

I think you should be pleased to have a wife stopping you, our problem is both me and Magnus cant stop buying new cameras, no one in our household is holding back. We will probably end up on the street with nothing but piles of cameras.

Why does the idea of ending up out in the street with a pile of cameras not seem like a bad thing? I suppose one would need to invest in one of those walk-in darkroom tent things. And maybe you could sleep in there too....or a big Harrison changing tent.

I went out Thursday with a friend and she wanted to walk the High Line so of course I brought the Exa, this time loaded with Rollei Retro 80. I'd never shot it before; I like the way it performs if you nail the exposure. Not terribly forgiving though. It gave good results in Rodinal.

Shot today at the Cardiff World Naked Bike Ride event. Rolleiflex 621, (1934) Tessar 75/3.8, Acros pushed to ISO 200 and dev'd in TMax.

And yes, it was a fun day out in good weather.

Lots has been happening as of late. Heres the weekend so far.

I decided it was time for me to get a camera that was quick and something i could use for my daily work a little better. So i picked up a Fuji X10. Still getting used to it. Not sure if im feeling the whole digital look. Its going to take some time. It just doesn't look right.

So im thinking of throwing some Afga APX into a camera tomorrow. Some suggestions perhaps?

Either the LC-A+, XA, or Leica IIIa (summar 50mm). I think its about time to go and take the ol bird out to stretch her legs and move some grease through those gears. May go check out some flea markets and burn up some film there.

...and... since Britt seems to hold on to MY Chamonix (yes, thanks for all your support guys) I've been demoted to use a single magnifying glass taped to my Speed Graphic.
And I think that's a lot of fun too so i really don't mind

lovely stuff everyone. I have finally got the old scanner hooked to the mac. I discovered this recently and printed it on to Fotospeed Oyster RC. Developed in Paterson Acugrade. I've been printing up photos of my son's first decade - he's 10 this week - and was pleased to discover this hidden in the negative files.
