Messing around with the Fuji FP-1 and a warming filter for Polaroid ID-UV...seems to cut the blues just a bit.

Volker, is that a dustbin pinhole? ;)

I've been trying out my new (but very old) Exa camera.  Shot this roll just to see if it worked and I got a few good frames out of it.  They're demolishing Lahiere's Restaurant in my town--a landmark that many of us will miss.  This is Arista EDU 400 with a Zeiss Tessar on the Exa.

Andrea, lovely.
Paul, as always, a fine shot.

Unfortunately, nothing from me this weekend as I am away monitoring the Greek situation and forgot my memory stick with images on! Still, a bar, a beer and wifi means I can see what you are all up to. Great stuff as always.

Mick - brings back memories ... boys in the park, jumpers for goalposts - yes. (etc)

great work one and all so far.

My offering this week is 2 test shots with my 65mm lens on my new 4x5 camera.  The lens is designed for 6x9, but is supposed to just cover 4x5 - AND IT DOES.  PERFECTLY.  Sharp edge to edge and a tolerable light fall off.  Wonderful :)

Finally took out my WPPD project... it's just that solarprints take so long!
This is some accidentally exposed Ilford RC paper that I decided to put in a film can pinhole I hid in a Chinese lantern outside. After the big storm of two days ago, I remembered about the camera which had been thrown around inside the lantern quite a bit. So I processed it (if we can say so). This was put under the tap for a few minutes, wiped dry and scanned. Extensive level adjustments and an image inversion later, here it is :)

And you have a magnificent view of the garden shed... note that this was a south facing camera... and no solar trails!

I guess the sun was already too high in the sky to be seen by it...

Standard kidlet shot, but I believe it's my penultimate roll of Ferrania. New FX-3 body (no more scratches!) and relatively fresh from the cheapo Walgreens scan.

Some better Ferrania colors. I'm sure going to miss that film.

Jack Johnson - those are amazing colours! I hadn't heard of that film before, 'Ferrania'. I had a quick look at the Ferrania flickr group and the film seems to have a real intensity to it without being overbearingly saturated. The photos you posted look like they were taken in some intense summer morning light. Lovely.

From your comment, can I take it this film is no longer produced?

Fantastic colors and monochromes all the way around.

Leon: as the kids say, that lens is sick! I love it.

Charles & Peter: Fantastic pinholes. Especially that second, Charles.
