This looks a lot like POP ... interesting, and seems quite easy too:

Quite like the video Leon...

That's something I'd like to try sometime,  and still end up with enough to make some mayo!

Looks surprisingly simple enough.
Not quite pop printing but pretty close...
He's also got some videos on salt prints and cyanotypes...

more than not quite, Francois! It's a 'printing out' process, is plummy red unless gold toned when it goes all aubergine, developed out in water, fixed in hypo ... sounds just like the stuff!

Seems the only difference is egg instead of gelatine.

Mauricio - seeing as it's asparagus season, I'll be doing a nice hollandaise :)

Thanks for posting, something I will try (eventually). It's good to see these 'home brew' methods, makes you realise how the future is the past wrt the analogue process...

Carbon prints are simply amazing to look at. They bring the image close to the look of Palladium and Platinum prints. And since carbon is neutral, the paper will disintegrate before the image goes away!

I saw a lot of vintage carbon prints in the exhibition which we featured in the very first FW video podcast and BOY were they striking. After having walked round the whole floor once I was recognising carbon prints from 20 feet away....they definitely have a certain look.

Leon: Thanks for the Nuevo POP link. This is an exciting development (har har)

Carbon prints are unusual I haven't seen one in years from memory they had a relief when you look obliquely like Kodachromes.
I'd love to try them too now – all I need is some time!
