hmmm will probably be shot down for this - but I find this a bit sensationalistic for the sake of it -yes it will get views etc and is linked to use of film - but feel uncomfortable with the desecration of any animal; yes its eaten at the end  -but trivialises the fact that it was a living being, I can see the 'novelty' aspect but...

Me - ex vegetarian and animal rights campaigner -so somewhat colored opinion from that perspective

I'm not really wanting to enter into the use of animals debate ... but I do think this is a bit of a waste of time either way. Just make a camera out of a box - why use a cooked duck carcass? seems like he's making life difficult for himself (and the duck!) for the sake of it.

interesting none-the-less.

I agree with that Leon... I also hate grease hands and I can't imagine the tripod's condition after the shooting.... arrgghh!

But maybe he was trying to prove which came first? the egg camera or the duck camera? ;D

...hang on. You're saying that there isn't a valid artistic reason for making a pinhole camera out of a cooked chicken?  ;D ;D ;D

[5 minutes later]

Honestly, I've spent 5 minutes trying to think of some irnoic and hilarious comeback along the lines of, "Next you'll be saying that blah, blah, blah"...but I got sidetracked thinking of all of the other animals that the guy could have used if he'd had some proper cojones...and laughing like a drain. An elephant? A beluga whale? A unicorn? My favourite was a fully inflated puffer fish (see below).

I followed the duck cam link and to be honest, I think I've just wasted five minutes of my life.
