Greetings!
« on: March 08, 2012, 05:54:54 PM »
Hello everyone!

I got into film over the last two years shooting a few B&W rolls in 2010 and saving until I was able to get my darkroom together.  Right now I'm just playing, working on my camera and darkroom technique, and finding inspiration everywhere.

I'm shooting on my sister's Minolta X-370 which I ... erm... borrowed from her 20 years ago, and a Konica Autoreflex T3 that belonged to an uncle. 35mm so far, but with a little work and tinkering I can move into Medium, which I hope to do soon!

I've shot some candids, some architecture, and in a few weeks I'm going to our property in Italy and intend to waste several rolls there.

A shout out to my cousin who's been passing on what she knows from her photography classes. She implied that she lurks around here so...

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone -

I'll make sure to post some pics as soon as I have anything worth posting! I'm praying for a little wet weather to accent the cobblestones, and some good clouds in the sky.

Oh, and lots of patience from my wife.

Welcome!
Always pack 2 or 3 films with your best camera + prime lens.
You'll be very surprised when you compare printed images of digital and film.
I especially get shocked every time I print my b&w films in 8x10 or bigger! :D
