The Profound Effect of Photography
« on: January 28, 2012, 03:01:06 PM »
These may be digital, they may be film, I don't really care.  The film describes the profound effect that photography has had on this man - really worth watching:

Pretty much food for thought....

Film is the vinyl record of photography.

Thanks for posting, Leon.

I was starting to think that this chap was incredibly narcissistic with him shooting selfies every day for over a decade. However, when he revealed the tragedy and suffering he's had to endure, his story became very life affirming. Bravo to the fella and long may he continue.

That is dedication!
I saw an Olympus Epic in one of the shots, or so I think that's what it was.
Very compelling series, especially toward the end.

I'd like to have a beer with him and ask him what keeps him motivated and inspired.

Very moving.

Wow. That is a perfect example of how photography can change a person's life, and its all seen in the pictures no less. Usually you only hear about it because the photographer isnt taking pictures of themselves. They tell the stories of how photography changed their lives. You dont get to actually see it like you can with this mans story. Fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
