Weekending ... way to go !! 15 December.
« on: December 15, 2011, 05:54:08 PM »
Storms, (and other excuses) have meant no successful shooting at all these past two weeks.  Very frustrating.  I mean, just twelve months ago, (exactly twelve months) I took these shots around the streets and felt no frustration whatsoever.  30 degrees Celsius and full of good pizza I didn't have too much to complain about.  Though that was twelve months ago ... and different streets.

Pentax MZ-5n, with 24mm and 43mm lenses.  Superia 200.

That's a very hot start Sandeha...

I'm still going through my  LC-A negs... sorry if it's been posted already. Two shots in Reykjavik and one in London.

The good old Routmasters were still going strong...

Finally getting round to developing some film.. I ran a test roll of Tri X 400 through an old Kodak Duaflex, didn't need to re-spool it holds a roll of 120 quite securely.. a sail in the Maritime Museum, Greenwich.

Here are a few car photos I've taken in the past week. All shot on the Rolleiflex 3.5F with ektar and one with FP4.

Yes that is the one, although I never cared to find Jim Morrisons place, to much wonderful stuff to photo everywere anyway. Love that place. This is a photo from my Baby Rolleiflex, but best pics was with my Holga.

Thanks Mauricio! That's a very kind complement :) Really enjoy your first LCA shot (especially the trumpet!) I'd love to get my hands on an LCA but I've been attempting to narrow down my camera stash and concentrate on only shooting the few I work with best.

Jim Morrison is buried at Pere La Chaise (sp)Cemetery....I think these photos from Britt are from Montmarte unless she went there on her own??? But regardless the images are wonderful!! Always so much to look at when walking through the cemeteries in Paris....Phil, your work is always so exceptional!

Love those Patrick - especially No.1 & No.4 - they are top class for me. I wish there was stuff like that around where I live.
Hookstrapped - really like the white drape on its own.

I've not posted here in ages. Just got back these today from the lab - all from Felixstowe in East Anglia. All on Fuji 400H + Hasselblad 500CM + 80mm Planar.

Crikey, its only really sunk in the last few weeks, but what a lot of petrolheads this site seems to have.  Cars, cars and more cars.  Good photos of some of them too!  Love most of the monochrome stuff but especially Andrea's, Suzi's and Axia's, all up to usual high standards.  Hoping to get in the darkroom this evening before I pack it all away tomorrow for Christmas so that the family has somewhere to hang their coats when they arrive on Boxing day.

I think the first one is much better by itself. It is a great photo, i love it! The light and the pose of the model is wonderful.  But the second one needs the first one to really work in my humble opinion. Together with the first one it is great, but not relly as good by itself.

Work and weather have conspired to limit photographic opportunities for the last couple of weeks.  However, I have maanaged to scan a few 'stray' images from earlier in the year, including this polaroid.

Some fantastic shots (as ever) and I really love those by Axia and CharlesBinns - but my absolute favourite, so far, is Andrea's Stornoway Gone Mad shot.

Here's a colour shot from Sri Lanka. Taken outside "The Temple of the Tooth" in Kandy, this is about 20-25% crop of a frame taken on Kodak Ektar 100 using the Ricoh GR1s:
