Diane I love the pinholes.  I must make one.  :-)

I shot some color last weekend - first time in a while.  The first two are Provia100 and the kitty is Fuji Pro160, all with the ZI and Biogon35/2.0.

Its a shame E6 processing is so darned expensive.  I really like the stuff.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Jeff

Admiral, love the thumbs up!
Diane, I really love your pinholes laundry shots! I always think of warm spring breezes.
Jay, really, really diggin that first shot! The reflection in the water is fantastic, and so is that color!

Here is mine. One of my favorite abandoned home complexes. Fuji 3000b negative, inverted, shot with Big Swinger.

Diane is that a patchwork blanket outside? Looks cool!

Jeff, I have been looking lately at the Zeiss Ikon ZM, looks like a fantastic camera; guess similar to the ZI? Shots with the biogon just looks fantastic.

Mojave, Yeahh, you made me willing to shoot again with Polaroid  ;D

Ok, I do no usually shoot color.. even less with the medium format cameras. I tried Ektar and Fuji Astia to see how they look with the Rolleiflex. Well, I do not know what to think. The hues issue and the scanning it´s very delicate, I did not touch hues but still when you slightly touch the levels hues change... becomeing less or more warm. And then I am really used to shoot with Iso 400, and my computer screen died last week so now I am with another computer, and Photoshop also died in this computer and then.... blah, blah, blah,  ??? Ok here the shots, like them but need to shoot more color before deciding what I think about color, more blah, blah, blah  >:( >:(

Here two with the Ektar

All fantastic so far but I particularly love Miller's power shots and Mojave's tree.

This week's entries from me were taken last weekend in Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast and Snape, just inland along the river. Film is Fuji Pro 400H and camera is Nikon F2S with 20mm f3.5 (Snape artwork), 105mm f2.5 (poppies) and 35mm f1.4 (I think - for the flowers with the weird flare).

By the way. I haven't touched the colours - they are precisely as scanned. I've only done some dusting, sharpening and resizing.

Interested to hear what you think...

@ Phil Bebbington

Maybe Greece is going to be the first to prove Benjamin Franklin's assertion that "nothing is certain but death and taxes"? Maybe they'll prove him right after all if the Greek government finally manages to coral the huge number of its citizens who currently pay none or way too little...?

Love the shot by the way. Here's hoping that view doesn't become the norm for many of their tavernas.

Jeff, I have been looking lately at the Zeiss Ikon ZM, looks like a fantastic camera; guess similar to the ZI? Shots with the biogon just looks fantastic.

Actually the camera is a ZI (and I believe has not changed since it's introduction), and the lenses are ZM (for M mount).  It's a satisfying camera to use, with a wonderful viewfinder.  The nits that people usually pick are about the volume of the shutter and the camera's reliance on a battery to function.  The lenses are very good I think.

Speaking of Astia, these two are from last October when I was testing the stuff with my then new ZM 50mm Sonnar.  I like the film but unfortunately it's no longer available in 35mm format here.   I love the lens and it has remained.

You mentioned Ektar too which has given me unpredictable results.  Sometimes wonderful and sometimes strange colors, especially in depicting the sky.  I have the new Portras (160 and 400) on the way which I'm looking forward to trying.  In Philadelphia processing c41 = $4.00, and E6 = $14.  Ouch.  My wallet has high hopes for c41 Portra.  :-)

Great pinhole shot Diane... so is Miller's polaroids
Erin's pola is almost an "instant infra-red"!
Paul... the first pinhole shot is absolutely beautiful...

My contribuition comes from my most recent addition... the Hong Kong's Debonair Diana clone.
By far, the worst lens of all my toy cameras... but I love it! It has not a single area of sharpness
making the softest lens of all my plastic cameras.

Great stuff from everyone as usual.  Personal favourites are: mojave's polaroid, andrea's stornoway morning, j_warden's last shot, paul mitchell's and windy's pinholes.

Some polaroids from me from a trip to the coast on Friday on 250 Automatic.  Hopefully polaroid blue isn't too cliched for seaside pics.

Warden - Yes, it looks as a Fantastic camara, and the sonnar 50 1.5 is one lens I am looking at, your second one just looks great, is yours the 50 2 or 1.5?

Paul, that second one is fantastic, simple and beautiful

Sapata the first one is the one that makes it for me

Grey fisth, beautiful the second one just matches the blue color ; )

Lawrie, again one neat composed image from this weekend thread, looking great

Mojave, yes it seems a great film. The one you are looking at it has in my opinion a 70s look that I like it pretty much, still I would like to match the color that Vivian Maier gets in her shots, which I believe is Kodak Ektachrome, so I should try with Kodak, but now I am also trying with provia, I also want to try Velvia and sensia... then I guess I should try Kodak ones... : )

Thanks, it's the 1.5.  Good for low light and interior shots, and when you stop it down it looks "normal".  :-)  This one was wide open I think.

Well, the backs of the Fuji peel apart is some type of very thin and very resistant plastic that is covered with a black paint of unknown formulation. I use use duct tape to put the image on a sheet of glass (goop down) and scrub the black stuff with the magic eraser. It comes out very well with a bit of elbow grease. On the downside you end up with black gunk under your fingernails but you get a negative.

What amazes me is that the B&W film actually gives a color negative! And some of the zones are inverted, others are solarized... pretty strange. I tried printing one on regular RC paper and it comes out a very dull and almost uniform gray...

Great photographs people !
I love those week-end threads.

Here's my little contribution. It's more of an oddity than a photograph.
Here's what happens when you leave photo-paper laying around in a messy darkroom :

I know becky makes some pretty awesome solar prints in a similar way...
The color comes from the degradation of the silver crystals. So making deliberate color prints is pretty much out of the question I think...
