This chap is wheelchair-bound, plays the violin very well and is an extremely nice fellow to chat with. His "pitch" is right outside the main entrance to the National Portrait Gallery in London. He clearly used to dabble a bit with photography as he recognised my M6 instantly and seemed really pleased to be having his photo taken on film.

M6 TTL, 28mm f2.8, Tri-X (scanned on V750), cropped very slightly and sharpened.

SP on the beach in Grand Case, St Martin, FWI. Neg scan.
Taken using a Canon Sureshot WP (waterproof - it says on the front!) I bought for $6.99 in a thrift shop. Works well, never quite sure where it's focusing because it's a P&S with no overrides. Seems to overexpose in bright light (e.g. beaches) with Delta 400 but film has enough latitude to cope.

I feel like I'm getting back in the swing of going out with my camera. Still healing from surgery last Oct, but I've lugged my camera back around for long days out and shot 10 rolls in the last week. Makes me happy and feel so accomplished

Alas, I'm out of c-41 chems so no scanning for awhile.

Wow, so many nice images!!!

Specially like the second one from Hookstrapped, great mood, the fantastic pinhole from Mojave, the one from SEan, and of course the one from my mainland, Girona ; ) ooh, and that shadow portrait from Dave

Two with the Pentax 67, self developped, which has improved after I was able to measure the temperature of the... room. Now I develop at 28 degrees. And I wonder why before I would put the liquids on an ice tray in order to get 21 degrees, obviously is much easier to adjust the time accordingly with the liquids temperature

I have an iphone application that does all the job and even counts the different times and warns you about them, and tells you how nice your pictures are

A big thumb-up, Filmwasters. I do love scrolling through these weekend threads. For once I have something (fairly lightweight) to contribute. I'm temporarily back on the instant film after my first flush (TM) of b/w & C-41 processing of last month, but hope to spend a couple of days with the chems out later next week while the kids are away. Anyway, Amy had her 6th birthday last weekend and I shot my penultimate pack of 500 series Pola film in my snazzy, silver Joycam to mark the event. It has a default mode called, "Make everything look like 1976" which you can't turn off. In tandem with the late-60s built house that their Grandparents live in as a location, you have the perfect time-machine.

Otto!! Welcome back. Good to see you here again. Everytime I come across one of your recent images online it's been shot with an iPhone, so it's great to see you're still using film. Hurrah!

Francois: You probably saw some of the clips from Amy's party (held the day before these 'Roids were taken). We had around 40 kids all told. It was fun, but mental. We then had a few people back to ours and we all drank steadily while the 6 or 7 kids left, destroyed the house. It took us about 3 days to get fully caught up again.

Peter's series is great! One of the best you've posted in here...
I really like the tones in Walter's series! The images are really beautiful and sharp.
Vicky's first portrait is amazing... I love everything about it ! all colours are matching perfectly.... brilliant atmosphere.
Diane, I like you LCA shot very much... I know this camera can be a bit controversial but I love it!
Now..., Otto's first pic is the winner so far for me... what a shot !!

This project, involving both nudes and clothed shots, is a bit of a mess. It's a long story and maybe I'll start a thread on it, but the good thing is I'm going to relax about it now -- in other words, where a series isn't working I'm not going to fret. Instead I'll just take the idea, however unrealized, for a coherent series and use it as an idea generator for stand alone photos some of which hopefully are good.

I talked to the gallery owners in my one-on-one critique today and they sensed I was struggling with it, they didn't see it coming together, but instead they said I had a few beautiful and moving photographs for the exhibition that were unrelated (except in sharing a model) and that's fine. Also had a very interesting discussion with them about collaborating with models which made a lot of sense of my recent struggles, and my very different prior work with non-professional models.

BTW, I think the best pic that I've done for this project is a nude, but it's different. I haven't posted it here because it's pretty NSFW -- I''l do a thread about all this and I'll post it there with warning to those who would enter. Thanks again.

Still travelling around Asia... both from Hong Kong, first CV 35mm f1.4, second CV 50mm Nokton f1.1, what a wonderful lens (even if a bit heavy for a daily user).

It's a cliche at this point but great work from everybody. Lino, love that first shot. Vicky, love the colours on the first shot, they are perfect for photographing kids. Ed, fantastic tones, I wish I had a camera with the 1976 default mode!!!
