Diane - wonderful pinhole. Love the subtle shades around the fork.
Phil - another cracker. That BWCN is certainly coming up trumps for you. I will try some next.....

This week, a final couple of shots from our trip to Fountains Abbey in North Yorkshire. These were taken on Portra VC but I've used Photoshop to "overlay" a Silver Efex Pro mask to add a bit of bite and desaturate slightly. Interested to know what you think.

Taken a few weeks back. I'm a bit behind on my scanning.

astronomers use red lights to protect their night vision so it was created by me and a couple other astronomers staying in the house.  White lights were banned for the weekend!

Diane and Phil and Peter--magnificent B+W work.  Amazing what you're doing with those pinhole cameras Diane.  And Astrobeck, the red windows and star trails are just magical...

Here are some more from my trip to Asbury Park last Sunday and one from last Friday in New York.  All shot on Arista with the Exakta and the 100mm Meyer.  Souped in Rodinal.

really dig those first and last shots, mil!

I've only been back from Japan for a couple days, and started up work right away, so I've only had a few moments to scan. I did get all of my color film developed. Here are a couple 120 shots with Ektar. Rolleicord III and Bronica Zenza.

This weekend I went with LIttle Princess and Little Alma to swim with whale sharks!!! No problem, they have no teeth  :'( It was a pity though, as water visibility was so poor, that I could not photograph from the boat. Alma remained at the hotel. Too smal for swimming yet. And could be swallowed by the sea creatures  :o At the night we all went to the river to watch fireflies. No shots as was veeery dark. If not we could not have seen the fireflies  ::) Ooook, so, any pictures Carlos???   >:( Yes. The guest house where we stayed offered plenty of possibilities, and opposite the street was a funerary...

Carlos, that is a great series.

Sean, great stuff and it has prompted me to get more Ektar, the colour is just wonderful. Great comp in the second one.

Terry, I love the third one and Mil, Honk Kong looks a great place for a wander!

Lovely work people . . .
Astrobeck > love that alien feel to the image!

Peter > as said great work, love the format too.

& of course from everyone else, nice viewing

Well this time last week we were walking around London, I stopped in to APERTURE
and picked up 19 mixed rolls of 120 & 220 expired film - which went to the Japan Appeal.
happy days.

After that we went book shopping in FOYLES and headed for St.Pauls, The Tate and Tower
Bridge.

Thanks for all the info in my request thread! http://www.filmwasters.com/forum/index.php?topic=3933.0

Here is a sample from the first roll [of 3] of Fomapan 200 through a Balda Baldixette.

calbisu ...not sure what that was..maybe a reflection from the window light source..if you notice the fork also has a ghosting effect..something to do with taking the darkslide in and out...kinda jerked a little so maybe that has something to do with it... :-\

Did you try shooting portraits inside? the res light would have given everyone a nice complexion :)

Eve I plus our pal Toots Wilson went down to the Finsbay on the Isle of Harris last night for a fantastic concert by the Kyle Quartet who are playing all of Beethoven's string quartets over a series of dates this year at the Mission House Studio http://www.themissionhouse.co.uk/. Had a fantastic time, great venue, lovely people and a fantastic music. Just had a Pentax p30 loaded with HP5 rated at 800 to play with.
Only thing that was a pain was the 70 mile drive back, half on windy single-track in thick fog dodging stroppy sheep on the road. Welcome to the Western Isles!

wow all of these are wonderful, very impressive pinhole Diane.

I have some shots ive been taking on my newly aquired Yashica MG-1 over the last couple of weeks, well behind with my scanning so will try and get them on tomorrow.

My canon QL17 came through the door yesterday :-) very excited to see how the first roll turns out, got a roll of FP4+ in there rated at 50 iso, so we shall see what we shall see.

hope these will do for now, shot yesterday on a very sunny, very rare friday off work. still getting the hang of temperature control on this stuff.

Shot on my SX-70 Alpha, on px-70 push

i use an epson 4490. i filed one side of my plastic carrier so i can typically get the full frame. sometimes i just tape it to the glass as long as it's not a super shiny film that will give me rings. i scan at 1200 dpi and 24 bit color, and sometimes use the auto software, sometimes not, and i adjust in PS as needed. that's about it!
