Is this a spoof or is it actually a scam waiting for some poor schmuck to happen along?

It's a schmuck thing. Was v. popular in the 70s and 80s. It's really just a fancy lightleaking in multicolours machine usually, though. Not even as complex as kirlian photography (which I had such an interest in that I made one using a peizo gas hob lighter, a piece of brass sheeting and some wires. It was slightly insane... only tried it with B&W litho film. and I think I was doing something wrong with my fingertip pictures because it did hurt due to being zapped!)

The whole setup was pretty flimsy and just sort of taped together so it's fallen apart since we moved. I could figure out how to do it again maybe... just wire to metal plate then use the other wire to poke object requiring contact. Place film inbetween.
It's kind of cool to do in very dark conditions because you can see it light up a bit.
I actually know someone who claims to have bought an aura camera and does believe in it but I think it's a case of a fool and their money is soon parted judging by other purchases :/
