An Introduction of sorts......
« on: December 10, 2010, 11:46:15 PM »
So after finding this site early last year, I registered and introduced myself...... then.... nothing

After reading through the "Your photography project for next year?" thread, I thought I would reintroduce myself.

Hello. I am Chris....

I am a fellow Canadian. Even though most of my friends have kept up with the digital game, I shoot more with old Polaroids and a couple of vintage Dianas than anything else. I love hunting through old thrift shops for old cameras. I have just recently gotten back into the workforce after spending two years at home with my son. I am a baker. I am finding it difficult to find time to do any shooting these days, but.....

I am inspired by all the Polaroid images (Sean, Miller, Ed), Peter's Ridgeway series! and how everyone geeks out about old (and odd) gear (Skorj)

I am hoping that this will get me moving and shooting a bit more.....

Hi Chris - welcome back. A baker eh? Now this might be wildly off topic, but any tips on sourdough bread baking would certainly please Ed and me!

Hi Chris!
Good to see another Canuck around here!
I'm always glad to see the North-American Filmwasters contingent growing :)

What part of Canada are you from?

You mean a snowed-in west coast guy ;)

(Don't worry, today we're getting the "everything in a day" treatment... snow, ice pebbles, freezing rain and back again)
