I has some success scanning larger negs on my old flatbed scanner, using a light (desk lamp with paper diffuser on negs) source as a back light but found I had to disconnect the internal scanner light other wise it competed with the back light. It also added some interesting textures.
The contacts style image and quality makes them look like the are decade old.
Phil don't listen to them I love your images. I'm just jealous that you have found a wonderful source of pictures in your abandoned images.
LD If you could reproduce this effect you could have a good series photo's. It does look like the typical mistake. Great Set.
Suzi This is a great capture, must have been a good show. I would love to see some more. Some years ago I tried to take some B&W images at a school play and know how difficult, even using HP5 rated at 1600.
Gregor How about four toes, one nail. Will be an interesting series I sure.
Miller Love the tones in this, I'm really going to have to look using colour film again sometime.
Beck Love these particularly the first, you appear to have found a sweet focus spot for this. Whether by design or accident.
Mine were taken during a walk in the park with the kids, are these street photography or park photography. The third one was taken about an hour after the first two as the kids dictated where we went.
