1. Diffuse and split-filter print from the weekend - Lhasa 2001 (OM-1)
2. One from recent experiment shooting into low sun  - Tokyo (Fujifilm GA645 + Tri-X)
3. Cross-processed - Boso Peninsula, Chiba (Contax T2 + Kodak EBX)
4. Just-developed 1.5-year-old fisheye shot - Tokyo (Holga + Tri-X)

So many good images, one that stand out for me are the ones from miles from the old coronet, Suzi's shot from the circus and  also the red mannequin shot, Millers boat, Paul's shot of the tree, Wavebeat couple kissing. And of course the colours of Phils first shot -so warm.
Lots of others too, but those stand out for me.

Mine is a Trichromic process HP5+

Cool! this is kind of magical! can you elaborate on the workflow/technique you used?

Another great thread full of images, well done to all.

To get images in Trichrome you need to shoot 3 separate exposures through a Red, Green and Blue filter.
From there the easiest way is to scan each frame in Photoshop and combine them in a hybrid process. Although I'm sure you could do a colour matrix of each negative in analogue like a carbro?
I've been doing them for a few years, here is my blog post on how I do it:

http://photo-utopia.blogspot.com/2007/11/colour-images-from-b-film.html

You can get almost perfect colour with practice, but I like some movement, so things get recorded as opposite colour shadows-this is the diliberate effect you see in the background of the flower shot.
Movement in the clouds also gets recorded by each separate filter, giving the rainbow effect.

Take a look Henri Gaud's Fantastic Trichrome blog too:
http://trichromie.free.fr/trichromie/
Take a look at the 3rd shot down of the beach towels with yellow, magenta and cyan shadows-wonderful.

The analogue processes for tri-colour printing are usually gum printing (different layers of different pigments) or cyanotype & gum (use cyanotype for the cyan layer) or traditional lithographic printing I guess... You might be able to print them onto sheet film as positives, then tone them using those weird coloured toners then combine them.
Ah colorvir toner that's what i was thinking of
http://www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk/products/580/colorvir-effects-kit-standard
or maybe rockland polytoner
http://www.firstcall-photographic.co.uk/products/605/rockland-polytoner-toner-kit

I've had the stuff to do gum printing for ages but haven't worked with it much. I have patience but I think gum printing may be too much patience for me.

Thanks suzi and mark! I really appreciate your comments. Suzi your image from the circus is fantastic...I really enjoy the movement and the overall feel. Roman, the kodachrome looks great! I gotta get my hands on some before the new year ends! and Paul, your pinhole image is wonderful and makes me want to finish my 6x9 that I stared building months ago :)

Went out today to check the infinity setting on the lens of the Perkeo that had been taken apart. Took the neighbours dog out and forget the lightmeter. Still, got this shot set at infinity and wide open.

I say. Why even use a 6x9 rangefinder with leaf shutter if you don't put a flash onto it?
