what a good idea ... and just in time for the festive season:
We haven't had a print circle for some time here at filmwasters, so I thought it was about time for round 7:
A reminder of the guidelines
Each person will be given the details of another filmwaster to whom they should send one print. This is not an exchange, you will only ever send one print and will receive one print albeit from another participant in the circle. So Persephone sends to Sunita, who sends to Farquois, who sends to Jiminy, who sends to Millicent who sends to Persephone - and thus is the circle completed.
Rules are few:-
1. Prints should be made from film negatives/ positives - no digital capture.
2. Prints should be made on a maximum paper size of 10x 8 or A4 although images can be any size upon this
3. Prints can be made in any way including alt processes, silver gelatine, inkjet etc.
4. Any comments/ details/ criticism requests are purely optional.
5. There is nothing to stop you making private arrangements to exchange prints within the circle, but that is not the purpose if this excercise
6. Those who do not send on a print after signing up will not be allowed to participate in future rounds until they have fulfilled their commitment (unless mitigating circumstances apply)
7. New members with no contribution in the forum are asked to get involved before signing up to the Print Circle. We ask at least an introduction post or a few thread posts.
8. All participants will receive details of the person from whom they will receive a print. It is the responsibility of each participant to chase up outstanding prints.
so there it is. Any interested members should 1) post interest in this thread; and, 2) PM me their address details for postage/ shipping by 31st October. -
do not post your contact details to this thread as they will be visible to the whole inter-wide-web. I will sort out the order of the circle then contact everyone with address of sending within the 1st week of November - then it is over to you.
If you have questions not covered in the guidelines, then post them here.
good luck
